Enkhuizen

Enkhuizen owes it’s prosperity to the Zuiderzee in the Golden Century. You can still find a lot that will remind you of the VOC period in the city center, like the 16th century Drommedaris.

Beside the old town, the Zuiderzeemuseum also gives an image of the life and past of the sea. This is where the Enkhuizer Almanak comes from.

Enkhuizen has city rights for more than 650 years and therefore has lot to offer. Like nice shops and restaurants, all in the unique VOC style.

In the near surroundings of the house there are severalĀ cafesĀ and restaurants to enjoy.

It’s 800m from the house to the train station.
